Listening Walk

An essential part of phonological awareness is the ability to distinguish between different sounds. Dosbarth Cherry Blossom went on a listening walk today to see how many different environmental sounds they could hear. They heard lots of different sounds, which included birds singing, Dosbarth Ash singing Welsh songs, the hand dryer, a doorbell and a fan. We even heard Janette moving her saucepans while she was cooking lunch.
